Take This Lollipop is a interesting use of the Facebook API – one that plays on a lot of people’s fears about privacy when it comes to social media.
Nightmares for the rest of forever.
Why am I a weirdo? Because while watching this video I did get an irrational fear in my stomach but it wasn’t because of privacy issues, I wasn’t worried about some crazy person using my facebook info to track me down and slaughter me.
What terrified me was that, while watching this video, I realized I don’t really understand anything about what facebook apps can do and I kept thinking “Please don’t write on someone else’s wall pretending you’re me. PLEASE don’t write on someone else’s wall pretending you’re me!”
that part where he was rubbing his fingers across the screen in that creepy way? here’s what he was rubbing:
in fact, he only looked at hilarious pictures of me. I was crying.
I found this hilarious for some reason. Maybe it’s because of my face. Or the fact that he looked at some miyavi pic I was tagged in while he was touching the screen. And Pime’s drawings xD
